Tour at the Royal Villa of Marlia

A national monument that has become visible to visitors. One of the most important historical houses of Italy, that has among its owners, noble families such as Elisa Baciocchi, Napoleon’s sister, that lived here from 1806 to 1814.
It’s a place characterised by various surprises and not only architectural but also naturalistic, it’s a real masterpiece. Its park, as a matter of fact, can shock the visitor thanks to its dimensions, circa 16 hectares, and thanks to the variety of flora and fauna present in the gardens imported here in 800. Not to avoid the variety of architecture, there are a lot of elements of different ages that are hidden to the eye since you go around the corner and… you have a surprise!

The surroundings of Lucca offer many alternatives to the curious tourist. In addition to the Tour of the Royal Villa of Marlia, I propose, for example, the Lucca & Wine, a tour that will take us to Montecarlo, a small medieval village, through the Lucca Oil and Wine Road. If you want to visit the city and if you love cycling then your choice will surely fall on the bike tour along the Walls of Lucca or on the Tour to discover Lucca.
