Tour by bike along the Lucca walls

3 hours tour

A very nice, dynamic bike tour during which, and along a path completely flat, we will pass along the history of Lucca.

Its walls were built in 1500 to protect the city and the citizens against the other Tuscan cities. They have never been used for this reason, but they bring “beauty” to the city today. A key point different from the traditional one, that will help us to enter also in the city centre.

We will make some break to visit the cardinal points of the city.

The tour will stop with a tasting of typical snacks and wine on one of the 11 “bastions” that surround the walls.

Tour informations

What we will see: cycling tour along the walls for a length of circa 4km, visit the outer part of San Martino Cathedral, of Napoleon square, the San Michele church, the San Frediano Cathedral and the Amphitheatre square - snack outside with local products. (in case of raining the snack will be take in the bar).

The tour includes: guided tour of the city by bike - renting bike - typical Lucca snack.
