A tour to discover the Medieval Pisa, a guided walk within the stunning Piazza dei Miracoli, entrance inside the Baptistery, the Cathedral and at your choice between the Leaning Tower and the beautiful monumental Cemetery which contains works of inestimable wealth, such as Roman sarcophagi and original froscoes from 1300. A set of monuments whose sight leaves breathless those who enter the main arch and sees their majesty in the middle of the „meadow of miracles”. It encloses priceless artistic elements, the pulpit of Giovanni Pisano, the Galileo lamp (the one that is said to be), the sepulchral monument of an emperor of the Holy Roman Empire and other beautiful works. We will enter in the circular-shaped Baptistery, the largest in Italy with its circumference of 107 meters, with inside the pulpit of Nicola Pisano and in which there is an extraordinary acoustics and with a bit of luck we may have a chance to get a short demonstration. And the Tower, the famous leaning beauty of Italy, the best known bell tower in the world for its constructional ups and downs that made it strange but, at the same time, fascinating. We will discover together the reason for its slope and, if you wish, you can climb the 294 steps to admire the city from above. A combined ticket of 7 euros to visit 2 monuments (Baptistery and Camposanto) or 5 euros to vist only one of the two. The ticket of the Tower is charged separately and it costs 18 euros per person (Children under 8 y/o not allowed). The admission to the Cathedral is free, however subjected to the acquisition of a free ticket and entry according to fixed times.
